Company Overview
Red House is an independent production company specializing in lifestyle, factual entertainment and features series and formats. Founded in 2008 by John Silver, Red House aspires to make quality popular TV programmes that are engaging, exciting and entertaining. Red House has a strong focus on talent, both new and established.
In our first 3 years we’ve made series featuring top talent that includes Sarah Beeny, Gordon Whistance, Richard Corrigan, Gizzi Erskine, Richard Johnson, Matthew Wilson, Charlie Luxton, Ewan Lacey, Andrew Samuels to name but a few.
We believe in collaborating and are very proud of the relationships we have, and we are constantly on the lookout for new talent to work with and develop. From programmes about houses that are falling down, or are overrun with rats and bugs, or are being transformed from the beast into beauty, to visionaries who move mountains and dig canyons in their garden, to ordinary people on a crash course from cooking virgins to Michelin star quality, Red House is always trying to tell exciting stories with flair and energy, and forge hot new formats with people who feel the same way as we do about what makes a great show.
